Crossley’s are actively seeking Caravan & Motorhome Repair Technicians, to work at their repair centre in Leyland.

Job Specification

To repair modern, accident damage caravans and motorhomes (habitation area only) to a high standard, within a given time frame.

To assist in the renovation and repair of water ingress damaged caravans & motorhomes. This includes the dismantling and rebuilding of all areas of the timber structure affected by water ingress resulting in decay.

Candidates must have previous relevant experience doing similar types of work, although it is not essential to be from within the caravan industry.

Work would suit a coachbuilder, bodybuilder, marine refurbish, experienced and adaptable joiner or from similar industry with the correct background, experience, and attention to detail with speed and accuracy. Skill and precision are a vital attribute within this role.

The successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team or individually when required and have a proven record to show experience. Ongoing training will be given from the start and as required. Candidate will work in a team and be given detailed instructions and ongoing assistance as required.

This is an interesting and extremely versatile role, working with many different materials, including wood, metal, aluminium and plastic to water, LPG gas, electric, thus requiring many skill sets. Training courses will also be made available.

These are permanent positions for the successful candidates completing the trial period, giving the company the ability to undertake an already confirmed large workload.

* Good housekeeping is essential.

* Kit of modern hand tools incl battery drill/screwdriver etc.
